Beyond Bangladesh Society (BBS) was established in 1997 with a group of people in education advancement projects in rural and urban areas in Bangladesh. It is a non-profit, non-political, non-religious and non-government charitable organization based in Bangladesh. First project of this organization called “Education Subsidy Plan” started in June 2000 with the support of Mr. Taguchi Koiichi and Mrs. Minamino Youko of Japan. Under this project, annual scholarships were offered for unprivileged elementary school students in Bangladesh. Besides this program, we actively participated in any natural disaster with helping victim families and weeding support to needy families too.
Bangladesh is a dense populated country and weakest handcrafted technology. Keeping in mind, we focus our foundation to create income generating training and research projects of poverty less society. In Bangladesh low literacy is like other developing countries related to poverty and therefore, quality of education in every aspect is not achieving as essential to investment outcome. The mission of BB is to promote Education and health care for all. Provide new opportunities for women in Bangladesh to receive modern education, advanced technical skill training and higher education. To increase computer technology training opportunities in Bangladesh.
